Dr. Kim Best has been providing a service to humanity for over 53 years. She began her community service with the Bedford StuyvesantRestoration Corporation. Dr. Kim Best worked in the community Outreach Centers where she conducted blood pressure and audio

screenings, housings assistance, employment referrals, and outreach projects. Dr. Best is an honorable recipient of OVER 600 awardsincluding the White House Presidential Award. Acquiring notable awards ranging from National Honors Lifetime Member Women ofDistinction, United Nations Community Service Award, Special Congressional Award, Senatorial, City Council, Assembly, Humanitarian, Ecumenical, Community Service, Appreciation Awards, and a plethora of many other awards. She has been mentored by some of the great leaders: the late Shirley Chisholm, Ruby Brent-Ford, Geneva Watson-Dean, Dr. Josephine English and Vernelle Albury. Dr. Kim Best has been employed with the Dept. of Sanitation for nearly 31 years. She is currently a Staff Analyst & EEO Liaison. She has worked with Mental Health for 13 years in Management as Counselor and Secretary. In addition, she has volunteered over 40 years working with individuals with disabilities and special needs. She is multitalented individual with several specialized areas in: Mortgage/Financing/Underwriting, Real Estate, Computer Technology, Price & Cost Analysis, Resource/Foster Parent, Specification Writing, Court Guardian, Theological Studies, Secretarial Science, Event Organizer& Planner, Life Coach, Teaching Instructor, Ordained Minister and Business Administration.

Dr. Kim Best is presently the President of the 79th Precinct Community Council, Vice President Keywomen Brooklyn Branch, Former President/Chief Chaplain of Anointed By-God Seminary, Former President of the National Association of Negro Business & Professional Women’s, Inc., Chairman of Bedford Stuyvesant Interagency Council For Aging, Chairman of the Brooklyn Hospital Advisory Board, Chairperson-Senior Committee CB#3, National Council of Women, OES Member, Life Member of NAACP, President-New Restoration Lion Club...just to name a few. She is a graduate of Royal Business School, International Theological University. She holds a Bachelor and Master in Arts, Ph.D in Philosophy and Juris Doctorate as a Theologian. In addition, she has received honorary doctorates in Letters, Christian Counseling

and Humanities. Dr. Kim Best is the CEO/Founder of “Healing Hearts Chaplaincy” where she teaches and trains individuals in Chaplaincy, providing services to the formerly incarcerated, hospice, hospitals, prisons and social justice. She provides counseling, mentoring for all ages and is a strong advocate for children. Her expertise and calling is the “Outreach Ministry” consisting of community service/projects, working in collaboration with various organizations and teaching the GOSPEL. Dr. Kim Best is also the CEO of “Power Women and Community Building”, which is an organization whose emphasis is working with Powerful Women and helping to build communities throughout the United States and Globally. Dr. Best is a Guest Speaker, Presenter, Mistress of Ceremony, Motivational Speaker both locally and on a national level for more than a decade. She serves as a Chief Apostle for World Missions, North Regional Apostle of

Churches of Faith, World Peace Ambassador and Ambassador of African Heritage. Dr. Kim Best is a humble, well respected and highly accomplished woman who is dedicated on making a positive impact throughout the WORLD.
